Dear partners, colleagues and friends,

We would like to inform you about the Training Course "Summer Academy: Freedom and Responsibility in the Media" of the International Institute for Journalism of the GIZ, which will take place from July 22 to August 17, 2012 in Hamburg, Germany.

The training is open to young journalists working for print and online media as well as in news agencies.
They should have a minimum of two years of professional experience, not older than 30 years, be in permanent employment with good chances of promotion and be proficient in English.
Female journalists are particularly encouraged to apply.

We would kindly ask you to spread the information within your organisation and introduce us qualified journalists who have interest in this training.

The required documents for the application are listed in the attached application form. Candidates from Vietnam could send their application by May 11 to:
