Part I/ warm up (15 minutes)
Part II/ Free talk. (25 minutes)
1. What is love? What would your life be like without love?
2. How important is money to you? Power of money?/Do you think that money is the root of all evils?
3. Can money buy love? If you had to choose between wealth and no love; and love with no wealth which one would you choose? Why?
4. Do you want to get married to a very rich man / woman? Why or why not?
Part III. Presentation and Q & A (30 minutes)
Part IV. Group work (40 minutes)
1. Role- play: You and your boyfriend together have dinner at a restaurant. Enjoying many delicious dishes, you feel very wonderful and rather full. However, you suddenly think about the cost of the meal. You don’t want him to pay again and again. What will you do: pay or let him pay again?
2. There is a big debate over a girl’s saying on the internet, which is : she prefers crying in BMW to smiling on the bicycle. What is your opinion?
3. Role-play: Playing game online and even gambling have completely cleaned your boyfriend out. It is the reason why he always asks you for money. No matter when he does like this, he seeks for reasonable things that make him unsuspected. In the first period, you are willing to give him money. After that, you seem to change your mind and think too much about your action.
What should you do in this case?
