Galec 2: Report Gossip workshop 7/6/2012

18:20, many came to GALEC 10 minutes prior to the show time to make friends with one another and to learn some more about the intriguing topic entitled “gossip”.
As usual, GALEC started the workshop with quick introduction followed by warm-up game called “clusters”. Members stood in a circle and started wandering around until the host announced a random number and attendants had to form groups of that number.



“Now, I want you guys to hop on 1 foot and wave your hands while singing the alphabet song!”

Unfortunately, there was no winner of the game but everyone enjoyed and felt warmer, cozier thanks to it.



In “free talk” section, attendants got to know more about the trouble and the feelings that gossip caused by working in pairs.

Many useful tips to prevent gossip from happening were given forth



In “Grouping” part, GALEC members discovered the bright sides of rumors, gossip and the most common themes used when people gossip.



“Gossip helps reduce suicide!!?!?”



Gossiping is a good way to know more about someone, but you need to assess your partner carefully instead of taking things in their face value.



It’s so hard for me to find out the bright side of gossiping

Due to time limitation, we could not come up to an agreement but we all knew that gossip and rumors have their own 2 sides: negative and positive ones.
