GALEC 2 English Club : Workshop"EDUCATION" 21/3//2013

Obviously, education is crucial for all communities who have a strong desire to be well-developed. It is far more than reading, writing, doing homework and facing with stressful examinations but it equips us knowledge about the world around us and brings us a perspective of life.
For some, especially children, education is just the presence at school day by day or even it is only a heavy bag with textbooks, considered as negative side of education system.
The word “education’’ raises lots of problems. So, joy with us to discuss about that on this Thursday.





Part 1: Warm up (15 minutes)


Part 2: Free talk (35 minutes)
1. How important do you think education is? Where can you be received the best education, in your family, at your school or in your society?
2. The quality of education in Vietnam is slipping, isn’t it? What improvement do you want to see about Vietnam education system?
3. What will happen if all education level is online?
4. Do you think that private-financed schools have effectively shared burden with government ones in educating children?

Part 3: Presentation and Q&A (30 minutes)

Part 4: Group (30 minutes)

1. Some subjects like math and foreign languages receive too much attention at school whereas art, music and physical education seems to be underestimated because lots of people think that the ability to lead to success of them is less than math and foreign languages do.
2. Single-sex education should be a great trend to education system.
