Confession is one of the newest trends in social networking all over the world. Surfing the Internet, you can easy to see sentences like: “you have secrets and want to share. Confess right here, people will share together but no one know who you are”. It sounds very interesting, yet whether the whole truth is simple like that or not. Just like two sides of a coin, confession trend has both sides.

Part 1: Warm-up (15 minutes)

Part 2: Free-talk (35 minutes)
1. What is confession? Do you know the origin of confession trend (time, location, and meaning)?
2. Where do you see the very first confessions? In your school/ your workplace, is there any confession page? What do people often confess about (love, work, and people)?
3. What are the pros and cons of confession trend? How does it affect to people’s life?
4. It is forecast that confession trend won’t last for too long. Do you agree or disagree with it?

Part 3: Presentation and Q&A: (30 minutes)

Part 4: Role-play: (30 minutes)
Yesterday, Linda wrote a confession and sent to Facebook Confession Page. Here was the content “…The married man living next to my door and I have been in love for few months. I’ve just turned 20 but he is 10 years older than me.
I insist him to divorce and get marriage with me; however, it’s likely that he don’t want to leave his kids.
It may no matter yet we had sex several times that causes me be pregnant. How stupid I am when relying on the wrong place! ’’
How could you deal with it if you were in Linda’s shoes?
