GALEC 2 : Workshop "VLOG TREND IN VIETNAM" 29/5/2014

Video blogging is a popular form of blogging where a video is made and subsequently posted on the internet to elicit a response from the viewers. A Vlogger generally puts out a series of blogs on the internet over a regular period of time. Unlike regular blogging, Vlogs catch more people’s interest and connect with the audience more easily. In Vietnam, the Vlog trend has just got popular since Nov 2011. At the moment, there are more and more increasingly popular bloggers like JVevermind, Toan Shinoda, Huyme or Thich An Pho Team… Their videos reflect local, social and cultural issues like young people’s trials and tribulations with love, being single, bullying, crazy fans or Vietnam’s north and south regional discrimination.
