GALEC 2 : Workshop "Happy Vietnamese Women’s Day" 17/10/2013

Half of the world is women, their crucial role have been confirmed by whole society - “ women is the beauty”. They seem to be an awsome present god gave to our world and made our world more colourful. Every year there are abundant contests in order to honor their loveliness, talent. In family, “men make houses, women make home”. Women also contribute much to society; for instance, Lady Gaga – a phenomenon in global music, Ms Hillary Clinton – America Foreign minister, Hai Ba Trung – Vietnam warriers who proved their beauty and ability. Uncle Ho gave Vietnamese women 5 words “hero, indomitable, constant, hard – working”. However, this weaker sex is still treated unequally somewhere. Sexual discrimination, family violence, women trafficking, prostitution are still headaching issues of our society. In the occation of Vietnam women day, let’s join in Galec to discuss more about them.
