Galec 2: Report How to set up a new business workshop, 5/7/2012

It was an interesting workshop with a lot of new members. First of all, they introduced themselves and expressed their expectation when joining GALEC club.

The workshop How to set up a new business was started with the vocabulary game. The first word “passion” was quite difficult for them, so we moved to the second word “desire”

After the warm up game came to Discussion part. In this part, members were divided into 4 groups to discuss many questions. The atmosphere became very exciting when there came with a lot of interesting ideas from eager members ^ ^


Presentation is always very interesting. In this workshop, members had more chance to present as well as give questions to presenters. It was a very good way for them to practice their critical thinking skill.

“Vision and discipline are the qualities that a business man/woman needs”.

Members came back their groups and moved to the last part – part 4.

Difficulties of starting a new business that business people have to face

The program ended with happiness, fun, laugh and satisfaction of all members. Thank you all very much for coming and contributing to the success of the program. Hope to see you next Thursday.
