GALEC 2 English Club : Report for Workshop “Sex discrimination” 10/01/2013

With the hope to help members got a deeper understanding about sex discrimination, GALEC 2’s weekly workshop was held in 10/01/2013. Workshop’s success seemed to promise to bring a happy new year- fairness instead of unfair treatments among genders.
After a long absence from MC position, our lovely MC came back with an entirely interesting warm-up game, Para-game. Members in each team were given phrases both in English and Vietnamese and they then had to paraphrase these words for their leader without mentioning to any word in given phrases.
The girl and her team proved their intelligence by a surprisingly unbalanced score:7/2. They were deserved to be brilliant champions.

After a funny game, members were ready to go straight to Part 2: Free talk . Here were excited smile faces waiting for Free talk part:

Time to move to part 4 with the following situation:
A couple of wife and husband went to hospital to exam their baby’s health.

They were announced a piece of news that their baby was a 5 month girl. They could not decide to give a birth or take abortion.

Fortunately, their friends might help them to find the best way:

The workshop ended with no final agreement for the baby. But there’s still an agreement on finding solutions and attitudes of sex discrimination.
