Report for Workshop: Family planning
Time: 6h30-8h30 p.m., Thursday 5/09/2013
Place: E-Connect Training English Center, No 198 Thai Thinh

MC Mai Phuong
Because of bad weather, there were quite few people attending the workshop^^
Firstly, All members sat in a circle, and got ready for speaking English. Each member was given 30 seconds for his/her introduction.
After introduction part, MC Phuong moved to the first part of the workshop: Warm up. All members were devided into 3 groups, especially each group just had one girl. One member of each group was chosen to come out and explain the word in the paper to the rest as requested. Finally, one member found the key word. This was “one child policy”. The game finished with the excitement of all members.

Next, Discussion part was one of the most expecting parts on that workshop. The atmosphere at that time was so exiciting.

I joined the one group and discussed with other patners and there was an argument about the problems relating to the family planning such as the contraception to prevent pregnancy or should the government in Vietnam impose the one child policy like that in China.
Members were so eager to discuss that MC found difficult to interrupt them. After having their attention, MC asked them to move on part 3- presentation part. They were so excited for sharing, questioning, and asking until the workshop ended. Especially, in this part,the most exciting subject is the importance of the son in a family.

After the workshop ended, Mc noticed to all members the Galec trip, some members came back to their homes, others gathered and seeking a restaurant for drinking, chatting, getting closer with each other. GALEC is not only a place where we can practice English but also a big home for making friend and relaxing.
