GALEC 2: Report for Workshop "F.A" 28/11/2013

~~TOPIC: F.A~~

At 6.30 p.m., everyone gathered in a circle and we get started!!! To heat the atmosphere and make everyone get closer, we played a funny game. In this game, the mission of each group is to arrange some pieces of paper into a right lyric of a song named “Lonely”. If you have not heard about it, let’s give it a shot because it is a really beautiful song.




~~They were listening to the song~~

After 2 times of listening to the song, all groups finished perfectly at the same time. That was the reason why we had neither winner nor loser. Then all members in the room introduced about themselves and we found out the fact that a lot of members today were from North Central Coast like Ha Tinh, Nghe An.. That was so interesting!!!

After that, coming to the second part “Free talk”, people were apparently excited to share their opinions about the topic “F.A” and also talked about the feeling with their current relationship status.

Moving to the next part, Presentation and Q&A, firstly, we discussed about the definition of F.A. Although the most popular one, especially among youngsters now was defined as Forever Alone, we also discovered other ones and they are even more interesting like FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION, FINANCIAL ABILITY or FLIGHT ATTENDANT.


In the second question which was “Your friend is over 20 but he/she still doesn’t have a first love. Do you think that she/he has some problems?”, Mr.Tuan said that if he had a friend like that, he will offer his friend to go to CHAUQUY HOSPITAL. How awkward it was!!!


After that, a pretty girl argued that she had a female friend who was beautiful, good at studying and nice but until now, she didn’t have a first love because she wanted to wait a suitable man which can meet all of her standards for a perfect boyfriend. All male members in the room had unbelievable facial expressions and asked the girl to take her ideal female friend to Galec 2 at the next workshop.


When discussing about the the bad effects of being F.A, Mr.Hoang told us an absolutely funny idea that was getting the headache cause at the end of the day, we had to think about who we are gonna sleep with then couldn’t go to sleep. But Mr.Sugar Daddy disputed that when we had someone to sleep with, it maybe lead you to stay-up all night. What a dirty-minded boy!!!


And the very last part, also the most interesting part: debate
Topic: Imagine that your son wants to live alone forever, do you agree or not?
Debate: Team 1: agree, Team 2: disagree
Mr.Phu was so smart when saying that it would be OK if you had 2 sons.

~~The affirmative side. ~~


~~The negative side~~
Sometimes, the atmosphere was quite intense. Finally, each team protected their point very intelligently and as a consequence of that, no team admitted being beaten.
In conclusion, we not only had fun time together but also gained some knowledge about F.A.
