GALEC 2 : Workshop "SELF-ESTEEM" 12/6/2014

People including the Vietnamese are often confused about the meaning of self-esteem. According to Oxford definition, SELF-ESTEEM means the belief and confidence in your own ability and value. The difference between someone with a healthy self-esteem and someone who doesn’t is simply the acknowledgement of your strengths and weaknesses. Being constantly criticized by family, friends, and society tends to slowly strip us of our feelings of self worth. Then, our low self esteem strips us of the self confidence to make even the smallest of decisions. Improving self esteem increases your confidence and is a first step towards finding happiness and a better life.
