WORDSTORM 2014 NOW IS OFFICIALLY BACK!!!

The English Speaking Contest WORDSTORM was held for the first time in 2010 by the GALEC ENGLISH CLUB and has evolved to become a highly respected competition. To follow and continue the streak of success we have achieved in the last 4 years, as the official host, GALEC English Club proudly present to you WORDSTORM 2014 with the support from our generous sponsors including Multi Language Training Center as Gold Sponsor and Pathways Education and Training as Bronze Sponsor.

III) RULES (4 main Rounds)
• ROUND 1: (1/10-21/10/2014) Application Form
The number of shortlisted contestants: 100
• ROUND 2: (26/10/2014) Presentation
The number of qualified contestants: 30
Format: Each contestant will be given 3 minutes to make a home-prepared presentation.
Assessment criteria: Use of words, Topic interestingness, Pronunciation and Fluency
• ROUND 3: (2/11/2014) Debate
The number of qualified contestants: 05
Format: Candidates will be paired up and given an argumentative topic to debate against each other.
Assessment criteria: Critical thinking and Reaction
• FINALE: (16/11/2014) The fire of FIVE
