GALEC 2: Report "The Art of Conversation" 26/03/2015

Time: 6h30-8h15p.m., Thursday 26/03/2015
Venue: MULTI LANGUAGE Training Center, No.30 Yen Lang

It was such an interesting topic ever!!!

At 6.40 p.m. Everyone gathered in a circle and we get started!!!. “It was an amazing day, we could not stop smiling and laughing from the beginning to the end" - that was the thought that most of us had when MC announced the end of this workshop.

After new members introduced themselves, and made friends with others, we together played an interesting game called “Catch Phrase Game” in order to warm up the atmosphere.
The game was extremely funny and brought us a lot of laugh. We had many amusing pictures and divided members into 2 groups by a small game: “Find your partners”.
In “catch phrase game”, each group had to compete with others to find out the phrase in Vietnamese that the pictures implied
All members were very enthusiastic with this game
The game definitely heated the atmosphere with such a fierce competition from 2 groups.
At 7.15 p.m, we started to discuss the topic: “The art of conversation”. It seemed that this topic was so interesting to everybody and the atmosphere was totally hot and ebullient.

Now it was high time for the most exciting part – Presentation and Q&A. And today we had so many extremely excellent presenters. Take a look at these pictures below to see who they were:

We recieced a lot of ideas from our members about “talking by phone or face-to-face conversation”. Mr Hoang with kute smile shared ideas about his preference of face-to-face talking that could bring many benefits, esspecially when we have a business conservation , while there were many contradict statements that supported for talking by phone.
We together shared opinions about how to make a good conversation with other people, especially when we want to flirt someone 

For  the last question “handsome/beautiful and sexy person, but terrible conversationalist, or a partner who is a wonderful conversationalist, but less-attractive-than-average, which one you choose?” we had interesting ideas about this situation. Interestingly, almost girls in our club would choose the second one for the reason that they couldn’t stand his boyfriends with  bad conversational skills that could not make them get on well each other.
The discussion was absolutely enjoyable that had different ideas about how to improve conversational skills.

Because of time limitation, we had to finish this workshop at 8:15 PM and said goodbye.
