GALEC 2 : Workshop "MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL" 19/9/2013

Mid-Autumn Festival is called Tet Trung Thu in Vietnam. Falling on the 15th August according to the lunar calendar, it is one of the grandest Vietnamese annual Festivals. It is also called the Moon Festival as on that day, the moon is biggest, roundest and brightest. Traditionally, MAF is largely considered as the festival for children characterised by the sound of drums and the twinkle of star-shaped lanterns. However, adults have their own ways of celebrating this special occasion. Without a doubt, joining this Thursday’s workshop of Galec 2 English Club is one of the most interesting ways.
