GALEC 2: Report for Workshop "HEALTH" 26/12/2013

~~TOPIC: "HEALTH" ~~



At 6.30 p.m., everyone gathered in the room and we got started!!! After everybody in the room introduced about themselves, we went straight to the Discussion Part.

Five groups were divided. It seemed that they had a lot of thing to talk about this topic because the atmosphere was noisy and ebullient. In my group, firstly, we discussed about the definition of Health and Mr.Thang who is currently a doctor in a Clinic told us the definition of WHO organization. Then we discussed tips to get a healthy lifestyle with 3 main components in eating: More vegetable, Less Cholesterol and Less Sugar.









Moving to the next part, Presentation and Q&A, firstly, we argued about whether Health was Gold eventhough it was important. Mr.Tuan declared that from his point of view, health was diamond, which absolutely make me speechless caused it was not what I aimed to say.


Then Ms.Tram told us her opinion about health. Personally, money was more important to her than health since money could buy health care services. You needn’t worry when you are sick but rich.


When asking some members about what they often did when they were stressed, we found out so many simple but effective ways that could help us unwind and relax after hours of working. From typical ways of women like shopping, gossiping or eating, weird ways like watching horror movies, screaming to a wall or surfing Facebook to simple ways that most of us often do when getting stressed like listening to music, sleeping or reading comic books.

Coming to the question “some tips to have a healthy lifestyle”, Mr.Giang raised one idea about masturbation and the room immediately got nosier. However, MC stopped members, especially boys discussing caused it went too far from the main question.

Because of the limitation of time so we had to end this workshop at 8 o’clock. We said good-bye in exciting atmosphere.
