Report Vietnamese Characteristics Workshop
Time: 6h30-8h30, Thursday 22/3/2012
Place: Room 5.1, Smartlink English Center, No 3, Lane 196 Thai Thinh
The program started with Name-designing game at which participants had to say their name along with any adjectives beginning with the first letter of their name. It became more tricky when the send had to repeat the 1st person’s name and adjectives and the third, fourth member would continue that.
I am Tan-Terrible. And I am Huong-Horrible
After the warm up game came to Discussion part. In this part, they were divided into 4 groups to discuss many questions. The atmosphere became very exciting when there were many interesting ideas coming from eager members ^ ^
What are strong points of Vietnamese people generally?
Could you tell us your own pros and cons of your own personality?
What are differences in the traits of Vietnamese personalities all over the country?
Discussion
Presentation is always very interesting. In this workshop, members had more chance to present as well as give questions to presenters. It was a very good way for them to practice the critical thinking.
Present ^ ^
“I want to enhance my confidence”
Present ^ ^
At the end of the program, we played another game to review all new words of adjectives we learned during the workshop. It was very funny that at the end of the game all members became losers except 2 winners ^ ^. Participants took turn to speak out any adjectives or nouns describing characteristics
Game
2 losers ^ ^
A lot of losers
The program ended with happiness, fun, laugh and satisfaction of all members. Thank you all very much for coming and contributing to the success of the program. Hope to see you next Thursday.
