GALEC 2: Report for "TRAFFIC SAFETY" 2/10/2014

Report for Workshop: TRAFFIC SAFETY
Time: 6h30-8h00 p.m., Thursday 2/10/2014
Venue: MULTI LANGUAGE Training Center, No.30 Yen Lang
(Note: Leave your vehicle at Thai Thinh Primary School)

Nearly 3.400 people die on the world's roads every day. Tens of millions of people are injured or disabled every year. Children, pedestrians, cyclists and older people are among the most vulnerable of road users. WHO works with partners - governmental and nongovernmental - around the world to raise the profile of the preventability of road traffic injuries and promote good practices related to helmet and seat-belt wearing, not drinking and driving, not speeding and being visible in traffic. We would like to make the topic “TRAFFIC SAFETY” in order to enhance public awareness on Road Safety.
At 6.30 pm, the workshop was started by a funny game: “Guessing traffic signs”. 12 questions were randomly given. Many words and phrases were not easy to answer but with awesome ability of guessing, they became not difficult for the audience.

Moving on to Discussion Part, as usual, five groups were divided. Each member discussed eagerly and quite sincerely regarding to the topic. They all tried their best to contribute more ideas, to search for a better way on strengthening our friendship. What a noisy atmosphere!

Now was the most exciting moment of the workshop, Part 3 – presentation and Q&A.

The most legendary saying of today must belong to Mr.Phu with "In the future, people will use public AIRPLANE to reduce cost and time" and the second one was from Mr.Banh Bao with "The most effective way to prevent and reduce the traffic accidents is staying at home"

We ended this workshop with laughs and funs.
